Prenatal Personal Training
Pregnancy brings with it unique physical and emotional challenges to a woman’s health and well-being. So in order for an expectant mother and her baby to thrive, active and consistent self-care is essential.
Numerous studies have shown that exercise during pregnancy can reduce depression and anxiety, relieve back and leg pain, lower cortisol (stress hormone) levels in the mother and baby, increase confidence, decrease the chances of premature birth, reduce the risk of postpartum depression and even shorten the time spent in labor during childbirth.
I recognize that each pregnancy affects women in both universal and individual ways. My goal is to provide customized exercise and nutrition services to help and empower each woman to meet her specific needs throughout her entire pregnancy.
I am licensed and certified to work with prenatal and postnatal populations. Communication with your OBGYN is more than welcome to ensure that my services are safe, appropriate, effective and complementary to you and your physician’s health plan for the length of your pregnancy and beyond.
Training is available in my Mountainside, NJ studio or your home.
Postpartum Personal Training
Postpartum Personal Training helps new mothers recover from the many challenges of childbirth. We focus on physical recovery especially the core, pelvic floor and those dealing with diastasis recti. We will also work on weight management, energy levels, stress relief, and improved sleep quality as you adjust to life with a newborn.
Workouts are customized for every mom for their specific needs and recovery timeline. Exercises will be safe, effective and get you back into a routine to where you feel amazing again.
Training is available in my Mountainside, NJ studio or your home. No need for a sitter, babies are welcome.
